The goal of the workshop is to present the latest strategies to address some challenges associated with sample preparation for structural and molecular biology studies, as well as for drug discovery applications.
The presentations by leading scientists will address identification and functional characterization of macromolecular assemblies, discuss overproduction and reconstitution of complexes from both endogenous and recombinant sources, prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems, and provide an overview of state-of-the-art methodologies for biophysical characterization. The talks will cover the strengths, weaknesses, limitations and complementarities of the different techniques and methodologies.
The workshop, open to students, postdocs and researchers will include time for discussion with speakers and a poster session
